Swelling in the neck, nasal blockage, nasal haemorrhage, nasal discharge, and serous otitis media are the most prevalent signs and symptoms of nasopharyngeal cancer (ear infections). Ear pain, ear discharge, nasal tone of speech, ringing feeling in the ear, and gradual hearing loss are among symptoms that some individuals may experience.
Other nasopharyngeal cancer symptoms include:
- Headache that persists
- Doubtful perception
- Numbness in the face (This can happen when the disease affects the cranial nerves.) CN III, V, VI, and VII are the most common cranial nerves involved in nasopharyngeal carcinoma.)
